The Terrace Curling Club is a 6 sheet rink located in Northern British Columbia approximately 140kms east of Prince Rupert
on Highway 16
The Terrace Curling Club is a family orientated, community minded facility, serving the residents of greater Terrace.
We are committed to providing affordable fun curling to all ages, working to develop skills, build self-esteem,
promote sportsmanship and establish life long friendships.
Message to Curlers!
With the Curling Club in need of attracting new curlers we have varied our start-up procedure this year, with a focus on introducing people
to the Terrace Curling Club. We, the Executive, are hoping that members will take an active role in encouraging people new to the sport of curling to come and see what our club has to offer.
Our opening this year is as follows:
Tuesday, October 6th and Thursday, October 8th from 7pm - 9pm will be a drop-in open house where new curlers are encouraged to come down to the rink to see what the club has to offer. They will be encouraged to throw a few stones and club member will be there to offer a few pointers.
Saturday, October 10th from 1pm - 4pm will be a "Learn to Curl" clinic that will teach basic curling techniques to new curlers
The week after Thanksgiving (Tuesday, October 13th - Friday, October 16th) will see the beginning of league curling with an informal schedule.
Saturday, October 17th - Our Community FunSpiel with a focus on attracting new curlers.
There is a Curling Course being offered in Kitimat on the 17 and 18th of October. Kathie Simpson is also instructing a Club Coaching course there for anyone interested in learning to coach. Registration can be done on the Curl BC Website
The season schedule begins on Monday, October 19th.
Again, please spread the word about our open houses and FunSpiel - the more people we can attract to our club the stronger it will be.

The lounge and ice are available for use throughout the curling season for private
functions. If your organization is planning a fun family or adult outing, the curling rink is the place to go.
We offer full banquet facilities with catering and bar services available at competitive rates.

Bring in a New Member on your team, you receive 25% discount on that nights fees. The New Member will also receive 25% discount on that night's fees.
Bring in a Member 2yrs or more absent from curling on your team, you receive 25% discount on that nights fees.
